A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a CAD Engineer to join our specialist and experienced Building Services company providing to the Energy, Food Processing and Pharmaceutical Industry with a unique service. We provide a unique service from concept, advising and partnering with our clients to ensure the correct mechanical and electrical solution bespoke to their needs.

Responsibilities

  • Creation of 3D models using AutoCAD Plant 3D
  • Create and modify 2D plans using AutoCAD
  • Create and modify 2D P&IDs using AutoCAD
  • Display and coordination of 3D Models using Autodesk Navisworks
  • Responsible for layouts and design of equipment, pipe supports, process and utilities pipework.
  • Prepare and update layout, installation, and 3D drawings for projects
  • Review plans, specifications and other customer documentation
  • Liaise with external clients and team members
  • Managing customer requirements and expectations with respect to CAD in accordance with ISO9001
  • Understanding and incorporating client designs
  • Creation of drawings
  • Issuing drawings
  • Stakeholder Management skills and self-motivated and able to work autonomously, to deadlines and within budget.

Experience

  • AutoCAD (from version 2016) Software Training
  • 5 Years CAD / Navisworks experience
  • CSCS card
  • HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering preferred, although other engineering qualifications will be considered.
  • Full clean Driving license
