A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant to join our specialist and experienced Building Services company providing to the Energy, Food Processing and Pharmaceutical Industry with a unique service.
Job Role:
- Accounts Junior financial and administrative support, including processing invoices, managing accounts payable/receivable, reconciling bank statements, and assisting with payroll and financial reporting.
- Key responsibilities involve maintaining accurate records, ensuring data accuracy, managing petty cash, and supporting the Senior Accountant with various financial tasks to ensure compliance with policies and standards.
Job Role and Responsibilities:
- Monthly Payroll using Sage 50 Payroll
- Pension enrolment and management
- Preparation of monthly payment run for Financial Director
- Monthly sales invoicing
- Match day reconciliation
- Cash float reconciliation
- Analyse financial information and flag/solve any discrepancies
Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel is essential for this role
- Attention to detail and to ensure data accuracy and identify discrepancies
