Job Purpose
We are seeking an experienced individual with extensive knowledge in customer service to provide a warm and friendly welcome at the Front of House Reception. The role will provide the highest level of client care and personal service to all associates in the clients\’ business, including visitors, occupiers and internal associates. This permanent contract offers an opportunity to work across various sites for a prestigious client. Pay rate £16.12, Monday to Friday 8am‑6pm site‑dependent. 28 days annual leave, inclusive of bank holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a professional first impression, beyond client/visitor expectations
- Ensure all visitors and guests experience the full customer journey
- Be a visible, customer‑focused professional by greeting clients, guests and visitors proactively
- Anticipate and act on client requirements consistently at all times
- Engage in customer events and pop‑ups organised by the client for occupiers
- Track essential items in reception and order when necessary
- Issue visitor passes using agreed sign‑in and sign‑out policies and procedures
- Arrange travel for guests, clients or visitors as required
- Set up and service rooms to client specifications at all times
- Maintain stock par levels of office stationery and supplies
- Keep the reception area clean, tidy and well presented at all times
- Handle all incoming telephone calls and enquiries efficiently and sincerely
- Provide high‑level concierge services and have extensive local knowledge
- Provide administrative support when required
Person Specification
- Professional, highly driven, flexible, enthusiastic, proactive, self‑motivated team player
- Self‑disciplined, capable of working independently using initiative
- Passion for high standards of customer service delivery
- Previous experience in hospitality or a customer‑service‑facing role
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to interact with people at all levels
- Consistently well presented in line with company/client standards
- Seek opportunities to enhance client/visitor experience
- Clear, concise, confident communication skills, customer‑service orientated, keen eye for detail
- Maintain and practice a high degree of confidentiality at all times
- Computer literate with good email etiquette; use of concierge and Microsoft systems an advantage
- 5 years of verifiable work history
