The job:
The Senior Solution Architect will play a key role in supporting Procentia's strategic clients and technology initiatives. Working closely with Product, Delivery, Engineering and client stakeholders, the role will help shape solutions, guide technical decisions and ensure successful delivery of both client-specific and product-led initiatives. This is a hands-on architecture role requiring a balance of technical expertise, stakeholder engagement and commercial awareness. The individual will be expected to lead architecture discussions with clients, understand business challenges, and translate requirements into practical, scalable and supportable solutions aligned to Procentia's product strategy and technology roadmap.
Here's what you'll be doing:
- Act as the architecture lead for strategic clients and programmes.
- Build strong relationships with client stakeholders, including technology, delivery and business teams.
- Lead architecture workshops, technical discovery sessions and solution reviews.
- Produce and maintain architecture documentation including solution designs, integration patterns and decision records.
- Provide technical oversight across application, integration, infrastructure and data architectures.
- Support Product and Engineering teams in defining solutions that balance client needs with product direction.
- Work with Delivery teams to identify technical risks, dependencies and mitigation plans.
- Support client onboarding, migrations and large-scale change initiatives.
- Review proposed solutions and provide guidance on security, scalability, resilience and supportability.
- Contribute to architecture governance and technology standards across Procentia.
- Support client demonstrations and technical due diligence where required.
Key skills and experience:
- Experience working as a Solution Architect, Technical Architect or similar senior technology role.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, integration patterns and cloud technologies.
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure and modern application architectures.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience producing architecture artefacts and leading design discussions.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Experience working across multiple teams and managing competing priorities.
- Comfortable working directly with clients and representing the organisation in technical discussions.
