As part of our continuing growth, we are seeking to recruit an Implementation Consultant with Calculations experience into Procentia. The purpose of this role is to implement automated pensions calculations, using our IntelliPen suite of products. To be successful, you should be proficient in the use of T-SQL, XML and able to work well as part of a team. You are able to successfully implement calculation automation for a variety of benefit designs, to client and legislative requirements.

Ultimately, demonstrating strong knowledge and experience in their area, sound technical knowledge as well as exceptional analytical, communication, and customer service skills. As part of working in the Client Success Delivery Team, you are expected to liaise with our clients to gather their requirements, produce specifications and configure the functionality requested. There may be an occasional need to travel to clients’ sites to do this. You will manage a diverse workload including multiple parallel tasks and you will prioritise your time and tasks effectively alongside the demands set on the team.

Here’s What You’ll Be Doing:

  • You are primarily responsible for the implementation and maintenance of pensions benefit calculations within our “IntelliPen” administration system to meet our clients’ requirements, including but not limited to, Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution scheme designs, pension increases, equalised GMPs and valuations.
  • Additional duties include the configuration of workflows, data maintenance screens, interfaces with other systems, pensioner payroll, data migrations and report.
  • Meeting with clients to gather requirements.
  • Communicating with clients throughout the software customisation process to obtain feedback and approval.
  • Customising software systems based on clients’ individual needs and specifications.
  • Educating clients on how to use IntelliPen and customised system features.
  • Engaging with our training team when required.
  • Creating documentation for clients and for internal use where appropriate.
  • Support in the software release process when required.
  • Support in the software upgrade process when required.
  • Build credibility with team members and all internal and external clients.
  • Time recording.

Key Skills And Experience:

  • Experience in implementing software systems.
  • Adaptable and agile.
  • Be a responsible and reliable professional, with a consultative approach.
  • An understanding of business processes and workflows.
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • The ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and deliver rapid outcomes.
  • Confidence to adapt and learn new programmes and systems.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and organisational skills.
  • High degree of numeracy.
  • Pension calculations implementation.
  • Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution calculations experience.
  • Configuring or developing pensions or financial services software.
  • Microsoft – full Suite.
  • Use of Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio.
  • Experience of T-SQL.
  • Alternative programming knowledge, even if only from developing Excel macros or similar.
