The Job

The Head of Planning role is critical to enabling a predictable, scalable, and commercially disciplined delivery organisation. The role owns the end‑to‑end planning function – demand intake, estimation, forecasting, and resource allocation – ensuring that all work across the business is consistently sized, prioritised and resourced. This centralised capability removes fragmented decision‑making and establishes a single source of truth for delivery demand and capacity, aligning closely with professional services, PMO, product and commercial teams.

Key Skills And Experience

• Proven leadership of a planning, resource management, or PMO function within a delivery or professional services organisation
• Strong experience in capacity planning, demand forecasting and resource allocation
• Demonstrated success in estimation methodologies and commercial accuracy
• Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret and act on complex data
• Experience implementing planning processes, governance frameworks and tooling
• Strong stakeholder management across Delivery, Product, Commercial and Finance
• Ability to operate in a transformation environment and drive process maturity and discipline
• Business and client stakeholder engagement
