The Job
The Head of Planning role is critical to enabling a predictable, scalable, and commercially disciplined delivery organisation. The role owns the end‑to‑end planning function – demand intake, estimation, forecasting, and resource allocation – ensuring that all work across the business is consistently sized, prioritised and resourced. This centralised capability removes fragmented decision‑making and establishes a single source of truth for delivery demand and capacity, aligning closely with professional services, PMO, product and commercial teams.

Key Skills And Experience
- Proven leadership of a planning, resource management, or PMO function within a delivery or professional services organisation
- Strong experience in capacity planning, demand forecasting and resource allocation
- Demonstrated success in estimation methodologies and commercial accuracy
- Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret and act on complex data
- Experience implementing planning processes, governance frameworks and tooling
- Strong stakeholder management across Delivery, Product, Commercial and Finance
- Ability to operate in a transformation environment and drive process maturity and discipline
- Business and client stakeholder engagement
