Are you looking to kick-start your career and your future? We have an exciting opening for a hardworking, enthusiastic and motivated Trainee Estate Agent to join our growing team in Chepstow. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a career in property, working alongside our Sales Negotiator and with training from the company’s Directors, gaining hands-on experience in all aspects of residential estate agency. As a trainee, you’ll be given support and training across key areas of the business with one-to-one mentoring. Have you got what it takes to take on the challenge and grow your career?
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Assisting with sales progression: liaising with solicitors, clients, and buyers to ensure smooth transactions
- Booking valuations for properties with potential clients
- Scheduling and coordinating viewings with prospective buyers
- Making customer care calls to maintain strong client relationships and gather feedback
- Supporting marketing campaigns and helping to generate new business
- Learning how to manage and update the CRM system effectively
- Providing a high standard of customer service in person, over the phone, and via email
- Supporting day-to-day operations in a fast-paced office environment
- Any other reasonable duties that are suitable and consistent with the role
- Be prepared to work every other Saturday (With a day off during the week)
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Strong communication skills – both verbal and written
- Excellent IT skills (email, spreadsheets, CRM systems)
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above)
- Full clean UK driving licence and access to a car
- Excellent telephone manner and people skills
- Organised with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to use initiative and also to recognise when appropriate to seek advice
- A genuine interest in the property industry
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and willing to learn
