Location: Remote with up to 75% travel to customer sites
Salary: £60,000-80,000 (depending on experience), plus benefits
How You'll Make an Impact
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and suppliers, ensuring collaboration, clear communication, and alignment to project objectives.
- Provide subject matter expertise in digital healthcare and EPR transformation, supporting process redesign and change management.
- Lead and guide teams, including line management responsibilities, to deliver operational excellence and embed sustainable change.
- Develop and maintain implementation plans, manage risks, and ensure governance and assurance throughout programme delivery.
- Collaborate with clinicians and managers to redesign workflows, challenge existing practices, and enable successful EPR adoption.
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder engagement events, and champion networks to drive user acceptance and technical adoption.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and best practice sharing, supporting innovation and high‐quality delivery across programmes.
What You'll Bring to The Team
- Strong consulting capabilities, including problem analysis, solution design, and delivery execution across complex programmes.
- Proven ability to lead customer‐facing workstreams independently, managing competing priorities and stakeholder expectations with confidence.
- Specialist expertise in transformation programmes within healthcare with a proven ability to deliver measurable outcomes.
- Experience in developing and managing project documentation, including RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), status reports, and governance packs.
- Understanding of risk and issue management processes, ensuring timely escalation and resolution.
- Ability to lead clinical engagement and co‐design activities, ensuring solutions are aligned with frontline needs.
- Deep understanding of NHS digital transformation priorities, governance structures, and operational challenges.
- Knowledge of NHS policy, digital standards, and national planning expectations, including the NHS Long Term Plan, What Good Looks Like (WGLL), and Digital Maturity frameworks.
- Strategic thinking and change leadership, with experience shaping digital strategies and leading transformation initiatives.
- Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders, building trust through clear communication, credibility, and influence.
- Advanced analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex information and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Strong facilitation skills, capable of leading workshops, stakeholder engagement sessions, and collaborative planning activities.
- Experience in consulting or project‐based environments, ideally within healthcare or public sector settings.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, delivering consistently under pressure in dynamic environments.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, capable of handling complex and sensitive situations.
- Experience with digital healthcare systems strategy, optimisation, or implementation, including advisory roles or delivery leadership.
- Mentoring and capability building experience, supporting the development of junior colleagues and contributing to internal knowledge growth.
- A proactive, collaborative mindset, with a focus on continuous learning, improvement, and innovation.
Additional Skills That Set You Apart
- Proven track record of successfully delivering Oracle Health (Cerner) and/or Epic EPR system implementations.
- Experience contributing to the development of consulting collateral such as methodologies, toolkits, internal frameworks, or thought leadership materials.
- Experience in line management, mentoring, or team leadership, supporting capability development and performance.
- Advanced qualifications in healthcare management, informatics, or project/programme management, such as MSc Health Informatics, PMP, or MSP.
- Familiarity with supplier engagement and contract management, particularly in NHS technology procurement.
- Understanding of NHS procurement processes, funding mechanisms and experience with HM Treasury Green Book principles for business case development and assurance.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies in healthcare, and their implications for service delivery and patient outcomes.
- Experience working across Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) or regional NHS digital programmes.
- Experience working in a scaling organisation, with the ability to adapt quickly to evolving priorities and structures.
