Location: Remote with up to 75% travel to customer sites

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, ensuring collaboration, clear communication, and alignment to project objectives.
  • Provide leadership in developing and embedding PMO governance, processes, and toolkits to drive consistency and quality across digital programmes.
  • Oversee programme delivery, maintaining visibility of interdependencies, risks, and issues, and ensuring robust mitigation and reporting.
  • Develop and monitor performance metrics, prepare governance documentation, and present progress updates to senior stakeholders.
  • Support process redesign and continuous improvement initiatives, introducing automation and best practice methodologies.
  • Facilitate programme meetings, workshops, and engagement events, ensuring effective communication and knowledge sharing across teams.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on programme management, contributing to strategic planning, resource allocation, and lessons learned.

What You'll Bring to The Team

  • Proven experience delivering digital and/or IT projects within healthcare settings, ideally in the NHS.
  • Experience in developing and managing project documentation, including RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), status reports, and governance packs.
  • Understanding of risk and issue management processes, ensuring timely escalation and resolution.
  • Strong understanding of NHS environments, including clinical workflows, operational structures, and governance.
  • Experience supporting EPR implementations or other large‐scale NHS IT systems.
  • Digital literacy and familiarity with NHS tools.
  • Experience of working autonomously within a project role.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels.
  • Experience supporting change management activities, including training, communications, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Understanding clinical workflows and how digital systems support patient care.
  • Experience supporting clinical engagement and workflow mapping, contributing to user‐centred design and adoption.
  • Ability to interpret and visualise data, using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau to support decision‐making.
  • A collaborative mindset, with a commitment to supporting colleagues and contributing to team success.
  • A proactive approach to learning and adapting, thriving in a fast‐paced consulting environment.
  • Basic knowledge of NHS information governance, including GDPR and Caldicott principles.

Additional Skills That Set You Apart

  • Proven track record of successfully delivering Oracle Health (Cerner) and/or Epic EPR system implementations.
  • Familiarity with NHS digital policy priorities, including the Long‐Term Plan, What Good Looks Like (WGLL) etc.
  • Understanding of interoperability standards, such as FHIR, HL7, and SNOMED CT, and how they apply to NHS systems.
  • Proficiency in data visualisation tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel modelling.
  • Understanding of change management principles, including stakeholder engagement, communications, and training support.
  • Awareness of emerging technologies in healthcare, such as AI, remote monitoring, and digital therapeutics.
  • Exposure to NHS digital platforms, such as the NHS App, Shared Care Records, or GPIT systems.
  • Experience working for a consultancy in a growth or scale‐up context with the ability to adapt quickly to evolving priorities and structures.
