The predicted salary is between 33500 - 41500 £ per year.
The postholder will provide expert nursing knowledge, skills and experience in the field of Cardiac Catheter Laboratory Nursing Practice, and act as a resource to advise, educate and support those involved in the care of the patient. To provide specialist nursing care in maintaining and developing a quality service. Assesses patients, plans and implements care. Provides specialist advice. Maintains records. Carries out specialist nursing procedures. Provides clinical supervision to other staff/students.
The post holder will be required to participate as a member of the Cath Lab Team currently based in the Trent Cardiac Centre on the City campus. This role will involve providing a seamless service for cardiac patients coming to the cardiac catheter lab which includes taking part in the cardiac emergency on call service on an internal rotation, which includes weekend and bank holiday working.

- Experience: Extensive experience in cardiac catheter lab working.
- Ability: Ability to undertake on-call sessions/lone working.
- Training: Completed IV package and sedation assistant training.
- Skills: Ability to read ECGs.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods whilst wearing PPE.
