Temporary PAYE | Potential Temp-to-Perm Opportunity
Temporary rate: £20.00 per hour PAYE
Working hours: 08:30-16:30, Monday to Friday
Location: Tameside, SK16

Permanent package: If the position transfers to permanent employment, the package will include a £43,500 basic salary, paid overtime, annual bonus, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, matched pension contributions and additional benefits.
The Opportunity
An established global process manufacturing business is looking for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join its engineering team on a temporary PAYE basis. There is potential for the position to become permanent for the right person, subject to performance and business requirements.
This is a days-based role within a fully automated chemical processing plant equipped with modern technology. Approximately 90% of the workload is planned maintenance, with around 10% reactive work, alongside ongoing engineering projects and continuous improvement activity.
