An established infrastructure and highways services business is looking to appoint an experienced Contract Manager to oversee reactive and winter maintenance operations on a major local authority highways maintenance contract in the Cheshire area. This is an excellent opportunity for an operationally focused manager with highways or civil engineering experience to take ownership of a busy maintenance workstream covering reactive repairs, winter maintenance, drainage, street lighting and minor civils works.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Leading operational and site-based teams
- Managing reactive and winter maintenance activities
- Maintaining strong client relationships
- Ensuring contractual KPIs and response times are achieved
- Managing budgets, forecasting and commercial performance
