Site Agent – Highways & Civil Engineering 📍 Location: Harlow, Essex 💷 Day Rate: £500 (Outside IR35 / CIS accepted) 📅 Duration: Minimum 2 weeks (holiday cover to keep project going) The Opportunity We’re seeking an experienced Site Agent to lead the delivery of a sustainable highways project in Essex. This is a contract role offering a competitive rate outside IR35, with the opportunity to make a real impact on a technically innovative and environmentally focused scheme. The Project The works form part of a wider Sustainable Transport Corridor, designed to improve regional connectivity and promote greener travel. Current phases involve the construction of specialist no-dig footpaths, an innovative method that safeguards tree roots and local wildlife while creating a robust, long-lasting pedestrian route. It’s a great opportunity to be involved in forward-thinking, sustainable civil engineering with clear environmental benefits. Your Role As Site Agent, you’ll be the driving force on site, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery. You’ll lead site teams and subcontractors, manage resources, and maintain strong communication with the client. With safety, quality and programme at the forefront, this is a role where your leadership will make the difference.
