Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias looking for a new challenge? If so, our client's established and dynamic engineering team in Warrington are looking for someone to support operations at their busy bitumen manufacturing plant.
Purpose of the Role: As an Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer, you will support the maintenance and repair of all Electrical, Control, Instrumentation (EC&I), and Mechanical equipment. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the plant.
Key Responsibilities: Your primary duties will include:
- Inspecting structures and equipment within the plant and reporting any defects.
- Conducting legislative checks and maintaining accurate records.
- Supervising contractors and attendees for scheduled servicing and breakdowns.
- Maintaining and assembling electrical equipment and systems.
- Responding to production breakdowns and plant modifications.
- Performing instrumentation calibrations.
- Employing logical problem-solving techniques to identify and rectify root causes.
Ideal Candidate: To excel in this role, you should have:
- Formal recognised apprenticeship (Electrical). Minimum of 3 years post-qualification.
- Knowledge of Industrial Plant Equipment.
