Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias looking for a new challenge?

If so, our client s established and dynamic engineering team in Warrington are looking for someone to support operations at their busy bitumen manufacturing plant., As an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer, you will support the maintenance and repair of all Electrical, Control, Instrumentation (EC&I), and Mechanical equipment. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the plant., Your primary duties will include:

  • Inspecting structures and equipment within the plant and reporting any defects.

  • Conducting legislative checks and maintaining accurate records.

  • Supervising contractors and attendees for scheduled servicing and breakdowns.

  • Maintaining and assembling electrical equipment and systems.

  • Responding to production breakdowns and plant modifications.

  • Performing instrumentation calibrations.

  • Employing logical problem-solving techniques to identify and rectify root causes.

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Formal recognised apprenticeship (Electrical). Minimum of 3 years post-qualification.

  • Knowledge of Industrial Plant Equipment.

  • Knowledge of Electrical Distribution Systems

  • Knowledge of PLCs, Flow Meters, Pumps, and Mixers.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset.
