Role Description

Volunteer remote Lead Developer for ProBuilt football platform.

What you will do

  • Lead technical development of ProBuilt football platform, overseeing public membership edge and internal performance hub.
  • Manage and support a small remote team of developers and designers.
  • Build and maintain Next.js / Node.js / PostgreSQL stack.
  • Ensure strong version control, workflow, and documentation through GitHub.
  • Implement clean, scalable, and secure code that aligns with ProBuilt’s long‑term vision.
  • Communicate regularly with the leadership team to plan features, updates, and priorities.
  • Review, test, and deploy code efficiently and reliably.

What we are looking for

  • UK‑based (preferred) or confident working remotely within our team.
  • Solid full‑stack experience, ideally using Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
  • Proven ability to lead or coordinate small development teams.
  • Strong understanding of GitHub workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and best practices.
  • High attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing and version control.
  • Great communication and time management – able to work independently and meet agreed timelines.
  • Genuine passion for football and technology, with a desire to create a platform that supports players, coaches, and clubs.
