We’re looking for a Senior Site Engineer who wants long-term work and genuine progression in the North West, starting with a new-build education scheme in Preston and further projects lined up across the region.
As Senior Site Engineer, you’ll be site-based and take ownership of the day-to-day engineering and technical delivery, making sure work is set out accurately, built safely and handed over to the highest standard.
Key responsibilities for the Senior Site Engineer:
- Setting out and surveying using total station and GNSS/GPS for earthworks, drainage, foundations, structures and external works.
- Using Autodesk Civil 3D for cut and fill calculations, reports and extracting setting out information.
- Producing accurate as-built records, ITPs and construction quality documentation.
- Reviewing drawings, flagging buildability issues early and helping resolve them with the site team.
- Supporting temporary works coordination and managing non-conformances with subcontractors.
- Leading and developing junior engineers as part of a collaborative site team.
