If you’re a Site Manager who knows how important the external envelope is to a programme, this will interest you.
This Site Manager role sits on a £29m multi-storey student accommodation scheme in Manchester city centre. A high-profile build with a structured leadership team and clear responsibilities.
As Site Manager, you will take ownership of the traditional brickwork package on the project. Reporting into the Senior Site Manager, you’ll run the externals phase, managing subcontractors, sequencing works and ensuring the brickwork package progresses in line with programme.

The Opportunity
This Site Manager position gives you full responsibility for a major trade package within a structured project environment. The Senior Site Manager oversees the overall build strategy; you as Site Manager will drive the day-to-day delivery of the brickwork package.
You’ll chair subcontractor meetings. You’ll push productivity. You’ll protect quality. You’ll keep the programme tight. They are looking for a practical, organised Site Manager who understands the commercial importance of keeping the envelope on track.
Responsibilities
- Manage the traditional brickwork subcontractor from start to completion
- Coordinate scaffold, windows and structural interfaces
- Maintain quality inspections and tolerances
- Drive programme and short-term sequencing
- Maintain health & safety standards across the externals package
- Report progress and risk to the Senior Site Manager
