A leading construction business is seeking a highly capable Lead Planner to join its growing team in Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lead Planner or a very strong Senior Planner ready to step up and play a pivotal role on major projects across the North West.

As Lead Planner, you will work across a diverse portfolio of high-value construction schemes, supporting project teams with strategic programme management and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and successfully. The Lead Planner will play a key role in shaping project delivery from pre-construction through to completion, collaborating closely with operational teams and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and managing detailed construction programmes using industry-standard planning software

  • Monitoring progress and identifying risks, delays, and opportunities to improve delivery timelines
