Intermediate Quantity Surveyor Manchester (North Manchester ideal) £30,000 – £50,000 depending on experience and capability Growing specialist interiors contractor Opportunity This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Intermediate Quantity Surveyor who wants more responsibility, more exposure and a genuine opportunity to progress quickly. You’ll join a growing specialist interiors contractor delivering drylining, SFS and associated packages across Manchester and the wider North West. With continued growth in the region, the business is looking for an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor who can develop alongside it. The £30,000–£50,000 salary range is deliberately broad. This role could suit someone still developing their commercial experience at the lower end, through to an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor capable of taking ownership of larger elements of the commercial workload. Your salary will reflect your current skillset, experience and the level of responsibility you are ready to take on. Working directly with the Commercial Manager, you’ll receive hands-on support while being encouraged to take increasing ownership of your projects. Responsibilities As Intermediate Quantity Surveyor, you’ll support the commercial management of projects from procurement through to final account, including subcontractor management, valuations, variations, cost control, forecasting and reporting. You’ll work closely with the Commercial Manager, project teams, clients and supply chain, gradually taking on more responsibility as your confidence and capability develop. Site travel will form part of the position, making this particularly well suited to somebody based north of Manchester who can comfortably travel across the region.
