Opportunity
As Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Lead, you will oversee the commercial management of multiple surfacing, tarmac and civil engineering projects from pre-construction through to final account.
Working closely with senior management, operational teams, clients and subcontractors, you'll ensure projects remain commercially successful while maintaining exceptional client relationships.
This Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Lead role is ideal for someone with strong tarmac, civils or groundworks experience who wants to progress into a strategic commercial leadership position.
Responsibilities
- Managing the commercial and financial performance of multiple projects.
- Producing accurate cost plans, budgets, valuations and financial reports.
- Leading tender processes and preparing subcontract agreements.
- Identifying value engineering opportunities to maximise project profitability.
- Monitoring project costs and reporting commercial performance.
- Managing applications, variations, final accounts and commercial negotiations.
- Building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Carrying out regular site visits to monitor progress and commercial performance.
- Ensuring contractual compliance across all projects.
- Resolving commercial issues and supporting continued business growth.
