Working alongside the project leadership, design team, consultants and specialist subcontractors, the Building Services Manager will ensure all building services packages are properly coordinated, safely installed and delivered in line with the programme, specification and quality standards. You will monitor mechanical and electrical installations, complete quality inspections and ensure works comply with drawings, specifications, regulations and approved commissioning strategies. The Building Services Manager will manage specialist subcontractors, review progress against short-term programmes and coordinate services with structural, architectural and finishing works. You will also attend design and progress meetings, contribute to project reporting and help manage the production of accurate testing, commissioning, handover and operation and maintenance information.
The successful Building Services Manager will be commercially aware, technically confident and capable of communicating effectively with both site-based and design-focused stakeholders. You will be proactive in identifying potential risks and finding practical solutions that protect quality and programme.
