Intermediate Quantity Surveyor Chester / Wirral – office based £30,000 – £40,000 depending on experience Established PQS consultancy Opportunity This is a great opportunity for an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join an established quantity surveying consultancy and build a long-term career in private practice. The business has a strong reputation across Cheshire, Merseyside and the wider North West. With a healthy workload and plans for growth, they're looking for an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor who wants to develop with them. They're open-minded on background. You might be a graduate, or still working towards your degree while gaining experience. That experience could come from a PQS practice, from the contractor side, or from working on the tools before moving into surveying. What matters most is a solid grounding in construction and the drive to progress. The salary range is deliberately broad, and where you start will depend on your experience and the level of responsibility you're ready to take on. Responsibilities As Intermediate Quantity Surveyor, you'll support the delivery of cost and commercial services across a range of projects. This includes: Preparing cost estimates and cost plans Producing tender documentation and assisting with tender analysis Carrying out measurement and valuations Assessing variations and supporting cost reporting Helping to agree final accounts Working closely with senior surveyors, clients and project teams You'll take on more responsibility as your confidence and capability grow.
