Are you an experienced Build Manager ready to take charge of multiple high-value developments in the Manchester region? We are seeking a Senior Build Manager to oversee 2–4 new housing sites valued between £20m and £70m. As Build Manager, you'll be directing all operations across live projects in a fast-growing, sustainability-focused business that delivers quality, energy‑efficient homes locally.

Opportunity

This Build Manager position offers senior multi-site responsibility and direct influence over construction delivery. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining uncompromising quality and technical standards on every site, across a variety of house types, including timber frame projects. You’ll work collaboratively with a seasoned Construction Director and Technical team, driving excellence from inception to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Build Manager function across multiple sites (£20m–£70m), ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and timely delivery.
  • Manage contractors, supply chains, and subcontractors to meet quality, budget, and health & safety objectives.
  • Implement and maintain high standards around energy‑efficient construction, smart systems, vehicle charging infrastructure and sustainability targets.
  • Collaborate with commercial and technical teams to resolve on-site issues and ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Drive continuous improvement, adopting the business’s open, honest, do-more values.
