Role Overview
The Business Development / Lead Generation Executive plays a key role in driving customer engagement, platform adoption and pipeline generation across Probrand’s core solutions. As part of the Digital Experience team, you will be responsible for outbound lead generation, client outreach, platform demonstrations, onboarding support and creating commercial opportunities across:
- Digital Procurement Platform
- Managed IT Services
- KnowledgeBus (price benchmarking and compliance solution)
This is a varied, front‑line role that blends proactive outreach with customer engagement and solution‑led conversations. This is a development role, offering a clear pathway into Account Management, Business Development, or Specialist Sales roles for high performers.

Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Client Outreach
- Conduct outbound calls, emails and LinkedIn outreach to prospective customers
- Follow up on leads from marketing campaigns, events, vendors, MQL systems and internal sources
- Qualify opportunities by understanding customer challenges, priorities and timelines
- Book discovery meetings, demonstrations and service consultations
Solution Engagement & Demonstration
- Deliver engaging and tailored demonstrations of the digital procurement platform
- Clearly communicate the value of Probrand’s solutions across different customer types
- Support sales teams in meetings through platform walkthroughs and solution positioning
Managed Services & Solutions Positioning
- Promote Probrand’s Managed IT Services including support, cloud, networking and cybersecurity
- Identify opportunities where customers would benefit from outsourced or managed solutions
- Generate qualified meetings for Managed Services specialists
Onboarding & Platform Support
- Support customer onboarding into the digital platform
- Guide users through setup, configuration and early usage
- Respond to inbound queries via chat, email and support channels
Customer Experience & Issue Resolution
- Provide responsive and knowledgeable support to platform users
- Escalate and coordinate resolution of complex issues with internal teams
- Maintain clear communication and follow‑up with customers
Campaign Management & Reporting
- Maintain accurate CRM records, including activity, notes and follow‑ups
- Track pipeline generation, meetings booked and campaign performance
- Work with marketing on targeted outreach campaigns aligned to sectors and solutions
Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with Digital Experience, Sales and Marketing teams
- Align outreach messaging with current campaigns and priorities
- Contribute to improving messaging, UX and solution positioning
Location
This is full time, office-based role. You will need to be within commuting distance of Birmingham city centre.
