The Role
We are looking for a Head of Manufacturing to lead and take full accountability for our operations across two production sites. Based at our Buckingham Head Office, you will oversee manufacturing in Manchester and Northampton, ensuring strong operational performance, consistent delivery, and high-quality output. This is a senior leadership role with full P&L responsibility, requiring someone who can balance operational leadership with solid commercial awareness. A strong focus on quality and consistency is central to this role. We are looking for someone who sets clear standards, drives accountability, and ensures the business consistently delivers to a high level, while also supporting the continued growth of the operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead manufacturing operations across multiple sites
- Take full ownership of P&L, budgets, and cost control
- Ensure delivery against production targets and margin expectations
- Maintain a clear and consistent focus on product quality and standards
- Drive efficiency, productivity, and continuous improvement
- Support and deliver scaling of output and capacity in line with business growth
- Oversee production planning and on-time delivery

What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience leading multi-site manufacturing operations
- Experience in scaling production output and increasing capacity in a controlled, sustainable way
- Strong commercial understanding with P&L and budget ownership
- Demonstrable commitment to maintaining high quality standards
- Track record of improving efficiency, performance, and profitability
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience in wood manufacturing, joinery, or CNC (advantageous)
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience
