We are hiring a sharp, detail-oriented operator who can help us run and improve newsletter production for clients. The core of the job is newsletter creation, migration, QA, and launch support in Beehiiv. This is not just a proofreading role; the right person should also be comfortable functioning like an early team member in a small company, taking on various roles as they arise in real time, being highly adaptable, and bringing a natural curiosity and growth mindset while adding value to the organization. This role requires excellent writing and editing skills. You should be able to spot awkward phrasing, tighten copy, improve clarity, maintain tone, and help turn rough materials into clean, client-ready newsletters. You also have an eye for structure, formatting, and design, and can spot a missing bullet point or out-of-place graphic or line of text.

Part-time initially (approximately 10–20 hours per week), growing quickly into a full-time role (40+ hours per week). We are looking for someone who has the capacity and interest to grow with the role over time, rather than someone seeking a permanently limited part-time position. Pay will be on a contractor (1099) basis and start at $25–30 per hour.

Ideal Candidate

  • Highly detail-oriented and organized
  • An excellent writer and editor with strong judgment
  • Comfortable learning new tools quickly
  • Tech-forward and good at figuring things out
  • Reliable working asynchronously without hand-holding
  • Interested in AI workflows, email, newsletters, and digital operations

The Role May Include

  • Generating, reviewing, editing, and polishing newsletter drafts
  • Migrating and formatting content in Beehiiv or other applications
  • QA, testing, scheduling, and launch support
  • Client onboarding and light client communication
  • Light operational research and problem-solving
  • Marketing support, LinkedIn repurposing, website or email updates, and simple design cleanup inside newsletters

We value precision, follow-through, writing judgment, and attention to detail. Incomplete applications, generic replies, and anything that does not follow instructions exactly will not be considered.
