ProblemShared has created strong partnerships servicing several NHS, university, and insurer contracts to deliver high quality ADHD and Autism assessments as well as assessments for learning differences. We offer wrap-around care in the form of psychoeducation, prescribing, educational navigation, and therapy sessions all under one roof.
About the role:
We are seeking an experienced ADHD Prescribing Team Lead to support and develop our prescribing pathway for adults and children referred via the NHS, health insurers, or universities.
You’ll work closely with the ADHD Prescribing Clinical Lead and be responsible for supervising a team of ADHD prescribers. You’ll ensure your team delivers safe, efficient, and person-centred care of the highest standard.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who is clinically experienced, proactive, and confident managing others. The ideal candidate will see this as more than a job — a meaningful opportunity to improve outcomes for people with ADHD.
You will:
- Work closely with the ADHD Prescribing Clinical Lead.
- Supervise and line-manage a team of prescribers.
- Provide prescribing advice and clinical support.
- Support service development alongside other Team Leads.
- Deliver clinical inductions (fortnightly) and help onboard new team members.
- Contribute to prescriber training.
- Hold a small clinical caseload / provide cover when needed.
- Provide safeguarding and risk advice as required.
- Promote and maintain consistency and quality across the prescribing service.
- Coordinate team meetings and set agendas.
- Engage in CPD and ongoing learning.
- Respond to ad hoc queries and requests for support.
What we are looking for:
- Extensive clinical experience prescribing ADHD medication (both adults and children experience preferred).
- Proven leadership experience.
- Enhanced DBS.
- Right to work in the UK.
- UK address and suitable home working setup (including reliable internet).
- Strong communication and team-working skills.
- Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable with remote working.
