An opportunity has arisen for an Electrical biased Maintenance Engineer to join a leading Manufacturing organisation known worldwide. This is an opportunity to join an already established maintenance team and to work in a company that prides itself on a friendly working environment. The company has been established for over 50 years and continues to grow, offering stability, development, and training.
The Maintenance Electrician role is commutable from the following locations: Blackburn, Burnley, and Preston.
The Maintenance Electrician will be required to work the following shifts: Days & Twilight. Monday to Thursday 07:30 am till 16:15 pm – Friday 07:30 am – 12:30 pm & Monday to Thursday 15:30 pm till 23:30 pm / Friday 12:00 pm till 18:00 pm.

Key Requirements for the Maintenance Electrician:
- Apprentice trained – holding a formal qualification in Electrical engineering.
- Strong fault-finding abilities.
- Fault finding abilities with Siemens / Allen Bradley PLCs.
- Experience with Servo Drives, AC Drives, CNC Machines, and Conventional machines.
- Holding slight mechanical ability would be an advantage.
- Welding skills would be an advantage.
Key Duties for the Maintenance Electrician:
- Perform planned and preventative maintenance.
- Fault finding during production on site.
- Support your team and functions throughout the plant.
- Liaise with coordinator to establish requirements.
- Assess each job and the need for spare parts.
- Self-development activities.
- Maintain high quality electrical installation, repairs, and maintenance to machinery and site.
