We are recruiting a Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established, high-volume manufacturing site with modern equipment and long-term stability. My client is a global company with over 100 sites worldwide. The Maintenance Engineer will join their double day shift and will be responsible for maintenance on all plant equipment.

Maintenance Engineer Benefits:

  • £43,700
  • All OT paid at x1.5 and x2

Maintenance Engineer Duties include:

  • Double days (07:00 - 15:00 / 16:30 - 00:30)
  • Assist with breakdowns
  • Planned and reactive maintenance
  • Improving and maintaining production equipment
  • Fault diagnostic and repair
  • Continuous improvement projects
  • Monitor maintenance stock and order spares
  • Update maintenance logs

Maintenance Engineer Requirements include:

  • Recognised Engineering Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing maintenance role
  • Electrical qualifications would be advantageous
  • Pneumatics experience
  • PLC knowledge would be advantageous
  • Basic fabrication skills

This Maintenance Engineer position is commutable from Sunderland and Newcastle and surrounding areas. Please note: Candidates must have the right to live and work in the UK.
