Vehicle Conversion Technician Role Overview You will be developing and installing specialist equipment across a range of vehicles. You'll combine vehicle surveys, data capture, fabrication, power tools and equipment installation, working closely with the design team to develop and validate new conversion kits. A practical, mechanically minded approach and a knack for solving problems and making things work is essential. Vehicle Conversion Technician Candidate Requirements Practical engineering experience with a strong mechanical focus Comfortable using hand and power tools Able to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering information (CAD experience is useful, but not essential) Knowledge of vehicle construction, components and functionality A practical, logical approach to problem-solving, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines Good communication and Microsoft Office skills A full UK driving licence is essential.
