We are a well-established and successful engineering business operating in a stable industry sector. Due to continued investment and long-term growth, we are now seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to support our Maintenance and Reliability team. You will become part of a structured and well organised department, who support high quality equipment in a clean, efficient and professionally managed plant. Our team is experienced, collaborative and supported by robust maintenance systems that ensure smooth day to day operations.

Benefits:

In return for your skills and experience, we offer a negotiable salary of c£35K (dependent on your skills and experience), plus company pension, life assurance, excellent holiday entitlement and genuine ongoing training & development.

Your Role:

In this organised and detail-oriented role, you will be responsible for supporting the maintenance team with organising external contractors, managing statutory inspections and undertaking administrative tasks, including logging engineering activity, raising orders and general engineering administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organising external contractors to undertake inspections in relation to planned maintenance activities.
  • Undertaking administration for the maintenance department.
  • Logging engineering activity into bespoke maintenance software systems.
  • Raising purchase orders and supporting general engineering admin tasks.
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring smooth communication within the team.

What We're Looking For:

  • IT literate with experience using computer systems for administration.
  • Previous experience in administration within an engineering, manufacturing, or production environment.
  • Previous experience of organising external contractors to undertake statutory inspections.
  • Good attention to detail, well organised and reliable.
  • Comfortable supporting a team in a busy, structured environment.

This Role is Commutable From: Alvechurch, Bromsgrove, Lapworth, Redditch, Studley & Wythall.
