We're looking for a sharp, detail-driven QC Laboratory Technician to ensure everything that enters and leaves our site meets the highest standards. You'll play a critical role in keeping operations safe, compliant, and running like clockwork. If you thrive in a fast-paced lab environment and take pride in precision—this is your role. Duties:
- Drive timely product testing across in-process and final specifications
- Prepare and manage pre-shipment samples with accurate documentation
- Test incoming raw materials to maintain quality from the start
- Support R&D and development projects when required
- Maintain and follow equipment calibration schedules
- Deliver training on test methods to operators and team members
- Provide clear process adjustment instructions to production teams
- Complete inspections, testing, and quality documentation efficiently
- Identify non-conforming materials/processes and take corrective action
- Escalate issues promptly to the Senior QC Chemist or QC Manager
- Support specification and process changes when required
- Investigate and respond to customer complaints and process failures
- Ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented quickly
Requirements:
- Qualification in Chemistry
- Calibration experience
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- Confident communicator who can liaise across teams
- Organised, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement
- Experience in a QC or laboratory environment
