The role will involve providing technical guidance to other members of the Electronics Design team, working alongside other engineering disciplines, designing hardware and embedded software to extend the businesses product range. Candidate Requirements You will have a depth of experience of full product lifecycle. The Senior Electronics Engineer will hold a degree or similar qualification in Electronics Engineering or a comparable subject. Proven experience in embedded firmware design, development, and testing, along with firmware unit, integration, and system testing. Solid experience in electronics hardware design, development, and testing; including PCB schematic design and layout. The Senior Electronics Engineer will have EMC design and test experience. New product development, and design validation process β FMEA, DFM. Creation of supporting design documentation, development reports, BoM, build packs. Experience of electronics design within a highly regulated industry, with experience of working with third party approval/certification bodies. Experience in architecture design and architecture design tools, with a familiarity of machinery safety standards or similar. Key Responsibilities The Senior Electronics Engineer will be a lead electronics resource for the business. Identify areas of improvement and assist implementing new processes. Design and maintenance of hardware and embedded software for use within company products. Assessment and documentation of products against specifications and standards.
