We are seeking a CABINET MAKER to join our growing team, in order to deliver high quality finished on bespoke projects. You will find no other business like ours. We are highly specialist and are extremely passionate about our bespoke products. Working with a wide range of projects which include The National Trust, The Vatican and The Royal Household, to name but a few.
We are looking for experience within the Joinery or Cabinet making sector. You will be somebody who takes real pride in their craft, someone meticulous, organised, methodical, and able to deliver exceptional finishes under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities and Skills
- Strong understanding of design with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret detailed construction drawings in both digital and paper formats
- Advanced practical skills in furniture making and fine joinery
- Confident operation of a wide range of woodworking machinery, with relevant operational qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of solid timbers, veneers, manufactured boards, and substrates
- Experience working with secondary materials such as decorative metal trims, inlays, glass, and leather
- Excellent knowledge of cabinet jointing and assembly using modern fixings and power-tool jointers
- Proficient in installing contemporary fittings, including drawer runners, hinges, and architectural ironmongery
- Skilled in veneering processes, including veneer selection, cutting, jointing, and pressing using hydraulic and vacuum bag presses
- High personal standards of workmanship, accuracy, and workshop presentation
