You'll play a critical role in keeping operations safe, compliant, and running like clockwork.

The hours for this role, offer superb work / life balanceCommutable from Wigan, Bolton, Ashton-in-Makerfield, Leigh, Skelmersdale, Eccleston, Ormskirk, St Helen's and Newton-le-WillowsDutiesDrive timely product testing across in-process and final specificationsPrepare and manage pre-shipment samples with accurate documentationTest incoming raw materials to maintain quality from the startSupport R&D and development projects when requiredMaintain and follow equipment calibration schedulesDeliver training on test methods to operators and team membersProvide clear process adjustment instructions to production teamsComplete inspections, testing, and quality documentation efficientlyIdentify non-conforming materials/processes and take corrective actionEscalate issues promptly to the Senior QC Chemist or QC ManagerSupport specification and process changes when requiredInvestigate and respond to customer complaints and process failuresEnsure corrective and preventive actions are implemented quicklyRequirementsQualification in ChemistryCalibration experienceAbility to work independently and make sound decisionsConfident communicator who can liaise across teamsOrganised, proactive, and committed to continuous improvementExperience in a QC or laboratory environmentWhy join us?
