CNC Turner / CNC Machinist Pay, Hours and Benefits
- £32,030 salary - is for Days Only Shift: 38 hours per week, Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 4:15pm, with a 12:30pm finish on Fridays.
- £42,998 salary - is for Twilight Only Shift: 38 hours per week, Monday to Thursday: 4:00pm – 12:00am, 12:00pm – 6:00pm on Fridays.
- 32 days holidays including bank holidays.
- Other Benefits include: Above average company pension contribution, Life insurance, On site Gym, Secured Parking.
The CNC Turner / CNC Machinist Position is Commutable From: Accrington, Blackburn, Burnley, Chorley, Bury, Rochdale.
CNC Turner / CNC Machinist Candidate Requirements
- MUST be time served and/or hold an equivalent engineering qualification.
- Strong CNC machining experience, ideally with CNC turning, multi-axis, twin-spindle/twin-turret or driven-tooling machines.
- Experience with Fanuc, Okuma and/or Mazak controls, including setting, operation and adjustment of offsets.
- Experience machining stainless steel to tight tolerances; milling experience would be advantageous.
- Methodical, quality-focused and reliable, with a strong work ethic, good attention to detail, initiative and a commitment to Right First Time, teamwork and continuous improvement.
CNC Turner / CNC Machinist Key Responsibilities (but not limited to)
- Set tools, load materials and adjust tool and fixture offsets to achieve accurate, consistent production.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, quality plans and work instructions.
- Inspect finished components using a range of precision measuring equipment and complete quality documentation.
- Maintain a safe, clean and efficient working environment, contributing to 5S, Lean and continuous improvement.
