The EV Field Service Engineer will diagnose and repair proven, high-powered EV chargers, while gaining hands-on exposure to OCPP, firmware, cloud systems and new product development.

EV Field Service Engineer Salary and Hours
- £40,000 - £45,000
- Company Electrical Vehicle
- 40 hours per week - additional hours compensated through time off in lieu (TOIL)
- No on-call system
- Laptop, phone and tools
- 28 days holiday (including bank holidays) - which increases with service
- Able to travel UK wide in the role
The EV Field Service Engineer Role Is Commutable From: Nottingham, Derby, Birmingham, Sheffield, Leicester, Lincoln, Peterborough but it is a role that covers all mainland UK.
EV Field Service Engineer Candidate Requirements
- 2+ years' EV DC charging experience
- 18th Edition
- 2391 Inspection & Testing
- ECS Card
- OCPP experience
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Strong communication and customer service skills
EV Field Service Engineer Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair and maintain AC & DC EV chargers across the UK
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance
- Test and configure DC rapid chargers
- Troubleshoot faults with customers and contractors
- Test firmware, apps and cloud integrations
- Provide technical feedback to R&D
- Complete accurate service documentation
