We are offering an exceptional opportunity for a Metrology Engineer. The role is commutable from Birmingham, Coventry, Henley-in-Arden, Redditch, Studley, Stratford-upon-Avon, Solihull, Sutton Coldfield, Moseley, Halesowen and Curdworth.

Responsibilities:
  • Creating CMM programs
  • Evaluate measurement data
  • Creating measurement programs for CMM with or without CAD model
  • Drawing up initial sample test reports as per the VDA and PPAP template
  • Implementing all measurement equipment
  • Calibration of gauges
  • Re-qualification inspections
  • SPC
Requirements:
  • It is essential that you have relevant CMM Programming experience
  • Ideally PC-DMIS
  • To have gained your experience from within a manufacturing environment
  • Good working knowledge of PPAPs and SPC
  • Good level of IT Literacy
  • This role will suit an energetic and ambitious Metrology Engineer, who is looking to step up to the next level and ideally lead the Metrology Department at a later date
