Location:Commutable from Tamworth, Lichfield, Burton-on-Trent, Cannock, and surrounding areas
Duration:Contract until at least Christmas, with potential extension

Probe Technical is recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join a global market-leading manufacturing facility. Youll be part of a friendly and professional team, working in excellent conditions with the opportunity for stable, ongoing work.
Whats on offer:
- Competitive hourly rate (to be discussed) Umbrella contract
- Monday to Friday Days only
- Company pension
- 22 days holiday + 8 bank holidays (pro rata)
- Potential overtime opportunities
What youll be doing as a Mechanical Fitter:
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Working to precision tolerances in a hands-on role
- Machining CNC milling/lathe work on medium-to-large components
- Organising workflow to meet deadlines
- Supporting fabrication, fitting, and welding tasks (experience in these areas advantageous)
What were looking for:
- Appropriate qualifications/experience in mechanical fitting
- Skilled in CNC machining (milling & turning)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
