Duties of a Maintenance Technician
As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician, your key responsibilities will include:
- Undertaking both planned and reactive maintenance tasks across our plant.
- Utilising your multi-skilled abilities to handle various technical challenges.
- Supporting a range of plant and equipment within our diverse manufacturing environment.
- Collaborating closely with the maintenance team to ensure smooth operations.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, Plc controls, robot, hydraulic and pneumatic issues to implement effective solutions.
- Maintaining compliance with safety regulations during maintenance activities.
Requirements of a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician
To excel in this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Hold formal Electrical qualifications to either a City & Guilds Level or NVQ standard.
- Apprentice trained.
- Possess genuine multi-skilled abilities to tackle diverse maintenance tasks.
- Proven experience supporting plant and equipment in a manufacturing, process, or production environment.
- Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong commitment to maintaining high-quality workmanship and safety standards.
