Our long-standing client, a highly respected organisation known for stability and excellent staff retention, is seeking a Maintenance Team Leader to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Engineer who enjoys leading from the front and driving continuous improvement.
As Maintenance Team Leader, you'll oversee a small team of multi-skilled Engineers, ensuring all planned and reactive maintenance is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. You will be responsible for coordinating workloads, mentoring team members, and supporting operational departments to minimise downtime and keep equipment running at peak performance.

Maintenance Team Leader Duties include:
- Continental shift (2 days 2 nights)
- Focus on safe working practices
- Site performance and KPIs
- Planned and preventive maintenance logs
- Improvement projects
- Assist with breakdowns
- Driving performance of the engineering team
Maintenance Team Leader Requirements include:
- Recognised engineering qualifications (NVQ Level 3 as minimum)
- Electrical qualifications would be a bonus
- Supervisory experience (Advantageous)
- Apprentice trained
- FMCG experience
- Knowledge around pneumatics
- Knowledge with packaging machinery (advantageous)
