A great opportunity for a Maintenance Fitter to join a busy manufacturing site based near Wolverhampton. My client is a well-known and established company based in the heart of the midlands.
My client is looking for a Maintenance Fitter to join their day shift. The right person will be responsible for off-line repair of machine equipment alongside other plant maintenance activities.
Maintenance Fitter Role Benefits:
- Salary £35,000
- 25 days holiday + BH
- Employer Contribution Pension Scheme.

Maintenance Fitter Duties include:
- Day shift 8:00 16:00
- To maintain/repair machine equipment.
- Carrying out general machine maintenance
- Make sure vital parts are maintained to a high working standard.
- Implement safe working practices.
- Monitor stock and order spares.
As a Maintenance Fitter Requirements include:
- Recognised Engineering Qualification
- Mig welding.
- Hydraulics and Pneumatics experience.
- Turning and Milling experience.
- Fabrication knowledge.
- Be able to use own initiative, make effective decisions and judgments when required.
- Be able to work unsupervised.
