Maintenance Fitter Have you just completed your Apprenticeship, are you Mid-Career or a Senior Engineer?
We are looking For Fitters at all stages of their career to join our established mechanical maintenance team., As a proven Maintenance Fitter you will be required to undertake both planned and reactive maintenance across our plant, which will require you to have experience of supporting plant and equipment within either a heavy engineering or process plant environment, which has required you to support machine tools, hydraulic valves, gearboxes and pumps.
If in addition you have any tig welding or pipe fitting experience our projects team will also be able to utilise your skills, as we will if you also have additional experience of mentoring apprentices, issuing permits and managing statutory inspections.
Requirements of a Maintenance Fitter:
- Ideally you will have undertaken a formal Mechanical Apprenticeship but must be qualified to either a City & Guilds Level 3 or NVQ 3 standard mechanically.
