Full Time | Permanent | Rotating 12 Hour Shifts (with very few nights)
Your Role
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will carry out a mix of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a wide range of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatics. This is an excellent opportunity to work with modern, varied equipment and play a vital role in keeping production running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance across the plant.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and basic electrical faults.
- Work across a diverse range of machinery and production equipment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and maintenance efficiency.
Qualifications
- Apprentice trained in mechanical engineering or a relevant field.
- Formal qualifications: NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong multi skilled maintenance background.
- Experience in manufacturing, production or process environments.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with solid fault finding skills.
