Maintenance Engineer

Hours: Monday to Thursday 14:30pm – 12:30am
Location: Leicester

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer to join a low‑volume, high‑value manufacturer in Leicester on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to breakdowns and complete planned maintenance
  • Carry out servicing, repairs, and improvements on plant, equipment, and facilities
  • Accurately record all work completed and maintain maintenance documentation
  • Source parts and manage spares/consumables to agreed stock levels
  • Support installation, relocation, commissioning, and handover of machinery
  • Contribute to Lean and Continuous Improvement activities

Requirements

  • Mechanical maintenance engineering experience
  • Experience with new and legacy machinery – Presses, CNC, Rollers
  • Ability to work with and without engineering diagrams

Commutable from: Leicester, Tamworth, Lutterworth, Syston, Coalville, Hinckley, Market Bosworth, Earl Shilton.
