ESTIMATOR We are offering an exceptional opportunity for an Estimator. We are a well-established manufacturing organisation, and we offer the complete service from concept, design, 3D modelling, manufacture, installation and commissioning. As our Estimator, you will be responsible for the preparation of cost estimates, working closely with clients, engineers, and designers to deliver accurate quotes. We are a close-knit team, and we enjoy great staff retention. You would be joining a friendly, supportive, and inclusive group of people. As no sponsorship can be offered, only applications with the right to work in the UK can be considered. Evaluate supplier quotes to ensure suitability and cost-effectiveness. Assist with initial project planning and clearly communicate project requirements at the outset. Attend site meetings as necessary and foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Ensure all work complies with relevant regulations and industry standards. Maintain effective communication with clients, external customers, and internal teams. REQUIREMENTS Experience of estimating within a manufacturing industry sector. It would be ideal if you have experience in metalwork, steelwork, or construction. Knowledge of quote preparation. Knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations, design management, programme, and risk assessment. Good level of IT literacy. Relevant qualifications advantageous.
