CNC SETTER /OPERATOR

Were on the lookout for a CNC Setter Operator to join our high-performing manufacturing team. Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, youll play a key role in producing high-quality components to exact specificationskeeping safety, accuracy, and efficiency at the heart of everything you do.

Working Double Days Monday to Friday

Commutable from Birmingham, Halesowen, Sutton Coldfield, Walsall, Moseley, Yardley, Aston, Brownhills, Smethwick, Solihull, Tamworth, Lichfield, Aldridge, Minworth and Coleshill

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set and operate CNC Milling, Turning and other production machines with confidence
• Produce accurate, high-quality components to drawing tolerances
• Plan tooling requirements, including jigs, fixtures, tool changes, and offsets
• Make minor program adjustments to optimise cycle times and output
• Inspect your own work (first-offs and in-cycle checks) to ensure precision
• Support and train other setters/operators when required
• Highlight and report faults quickly to keep machines running at their best

REQUIREMENTS

• Good standard of education
• CNC setting & operating experience (VMC/VMG machinery)
• Skilled in using a range of measuring equipment
• Confident with Microsoft Office tools
• A keen eye for detail, problem-solving mindset, and safety-first approach
• Flexible, team player with excellent Happy to work Double Days
