We are seeking an experienced and detail-driven Electroplating Engineer to join our growing team in Birmingham. This role plays a vital part in maintaining and enhancing the quality of our luxury metal products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of craftsmanship and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, control, and maintain chemical plating solutions
- Process components through a range of chemical and finishing processes
- Carry out quality inspections to ensure products meet specification
- Maintain plating equipment and ensure it operates safely and effectively
- Ensure all work aligns with company quality standards and core values
What we’re looking for:
- Strong experience in metal plating, including brass
- A proactive, can-do attitude with a desire to improve processes
- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail
- Good spoken and written English
- Experience working with brass hardware or luxury products would be beneficial but not essential
- Basic computer skills and general IT awareness
- Experience in shop-floor machining or manufacturing environments helpful, but again, not essential
