We’ve partnered with a well-known company based in black country. We are looking to recruit an electrically bias maintenance engineer. My client is an established and growing UK industrial business with a strong heritage, modern facilities and a focus on quality, reliability and continuous improvement.
This role is a multi-skilled role working in a heavy engineering environment. You will be working a Monday to Friday day shift with a team of engineers. My client is looking for a maintenance engineer that they can develop and progress their career.
Maintenance Engineer Benefits:
- £45,000 - £46,000

Maintenance Engineer Duties include:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on machinery and equipment
- Responding to breakdowns and carrying out fault finding
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults
- Maintaining motors, gearboxes, pumps, conveyors and production machinery
- Carrying out reactive maintenance to minimise production downtime
- Completing routine inspection and servicing of equipment
- Working with PLC-controlled machinery and basic electrical control systems
Maintenance Engineer Requirements include:
- Apprentice trained.
- Recognised electrical qualifications.
- 18th edition (desirable).
- Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Previous experience within a manufacturing environment.
- PLC fault finding would be beneficial.
This Maintenance Engineer position is commutable from: Dudley, Tipton, Wolverhampton, Wednesbury, Walsall, Birmingham, Brierly Hill, and surrounding areas.
